Recommended: Classroom, technology impact on education

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Looking back to when I was studying at high school, I remember profoundly my science classes and recall my enthusiasm to participate and assimilate the knowledge being taught by my teachers. These classes allowed me to expose diverse and astonishing topics. Homeostasis being one of the topics which held my attention and curiosity thoroughly. This process intrigued me due to the biological reactions that are associated with every single cell, tissues and organs of our body which keep us alive. Besides, I am passionate about science, Biology in particular because I enjoy the intellectual challenge it involves. These are the two of many reasons that allow it consistently ranked in the top 100 universities in the world. Moreover, numerous students including me have chosen Monash University as an education provider due to its outstanding reputation for quality, highly trusted experience and excellent graduate outcomes and. Also, Monash emphasis on equipping professional students with the right skills and experience to gain employment in their nominated fields. Multicultural Australia is one of the English-speaking countries. Because of this, I know I will be entirely immersed in a society with purely English, allowing me to enhance my communication skills since English is not my first language. Also, it allows me to apply my education in a wider market. Whilst the world is becoming safer all the time, they are some countries that are safer than others. Australia is regarded as one of the safest and amicable study destinations in the world compared to UK and USA. Great care is also taken in looking after international students like me and assisting us to adapt to the Australian way of life. Australia has a low crime rate and strict gun control laws providing a safe environment. Moreover, study in Australia allows me to become truly independent and self-sufficient while I cannot experience it at my home country. Besides, one of the significant reasons that I choose to study in Australia is their relaxing lifestyle. This is great help for me hoping to improve study in a laid-back environment and to relieve stress. Last but not least, Australia has a reputation for adopting new technologies at a faster rate than in most other countries and enters the new millennium with one of the highest rates of Internet access in the world.     The Colonial Period (1607-1775) was essentially the first literary movement in America. The ideas portrayed within the period were expressed with two main styles of writing; Puritan and Classical. The puritan style was heavily influenced by God and the puritan's way of life. It was often short and too the point, and referred to ordinary things. The Classical Style was usually used to express analysis, theory, and practice. This style was delivered in a way that it would influence the audience. "Huswifery", by Edward Taylor offers a great example of the use of the Puritan style. He used a spinning wheel, and ordinary object, to compare his relationship to God. He tried to compare his feelings in an ordinary way that followed the puritan style, just like Anne Bradstreet in "To My Dear and Loving Husband". She used multiple metaphors to help explain how great her love was for her husband. Although emotion is not favored in the Puritan style, she vented them through her poetry. In the Classical style of writing, giving sermons was a common way of presenting information to people; and Jonathan Edwards is a great example. His sermons were direct and persuasive because he used literary devices that created images in the audience's heads. All of these stories helped to get people to start worshipping God again, thus giving the creation of the Colonial Period in America.
