Moe Berg was a third-string catcher for several baseball teams in the '30's, including the Red Sox. He went to Princeton when Jews just didn't go to Princeton. His degree was in linguistics. He could speak several languages. He went to Japan just before the Second World War and shot film of several locations which proved to be somewhat helpful (he used to exaggerate how helpful it was, but during WWII they were looking for any edge) in terms of pinpointing major Tokyo buildings. Lincoln enrolled in electrical engineering at Ohio State University in 1902. During those years at Ohio State he was captain of the football team, which helped his leadership skills grow. She learned about welding from her husband because they had to move to Prichard so her husband could get a job on the docks as a welder. African Americans that have made major contributions in the field of science that should be discussed, studied and taught to our society to educate new generations of the vast majority of these great scientists. There are a variety of areas in the science field that African Americans have participated in. There were Chemists, Biochemists, Biologists, Physicists, and many others. There were people like Herman Branson, an assistant professor of chemistry and physics at Howard University, who helped prepare many young students for the science field.

Lowell Myers was born January 26, 1930. Myers lost his hearing as a child. Both his parents were deaf. Myers grew up in Chicago. He graduated from Lakeview High School and received degrees from Roosevelt University and the University of Chicago before becoming a Certified Public Accountant. He worked at Sears, Roebuck and Co. for 30 years. While at Sears, Mr. Myers took night classes and received a law degree from John Marshall. He later died on November 7, 2006 in Rockville, Maryland. His cause of death was due to brain aneurysm.

David Hahn also called the "Radioactive Boy Scout" or the "Nuclear Boy Scout", is an American who attempted to build a homemade breeder nuclear reactor in 1994, at the age 17. As a scout in the Boy Scouts of America, Hahn conducted his experiments in secret in a backyard shed at his mother's house in Clinton Township, Michigan. While his reactor never reached a dangerous state, the police became concerned when they stopped him for another reason and they found material in his vehicle that was dangerous. Ten months later, his mother's property was cleaned up by the Environmental Protection Agency at a Superfund cleanup site. Hahn attained Eagle Scout rank shortly after his lab was dismantled.

59 year old John Glover Roberts Jr, was born on January 27, 1955 in Buffalo, New York. He was the only son of John G. “Jack” Glover Sr. and Rosemary Podrasky Roberts. His ancestry was Irish, Welsh, and Czech (O'Dowd). In 1959 his family moved to Long Beach, Indiana where he attended first, a Catholic Elementary School (Notre Dame), and then a private Catholic boarding school (La Lumiere in La Porte, Indiana).
