CSL would like to take this opportunity to thank both Proteam and BAX for the opportunity to submit this proposal for the Transportation Operations System (TOS) project. CSL is in the business helping our clients through the delivery of “real world” test results that assist information technology professionals make better and more informed project management and deployment decisions. The value of CSL’s service is mitigating as much risk as possible prior to mission critical systems deployment. Early, unbiased quality assurance testing in a project brings two very important benefits: the detection of mistakes at early stages, thereby reducing the chances of a long term fatal error and an increase in the eventual overall project success. The fragmented operational systems that BAX currently relies upon are in need of a complete overhaul. The mission critical systems that will replace this fragmented infrastructure will be more tightly integrated, marketplace flexible and of a much higher and dependable quality that the current environment.
Since BAX has chosen to change the way in which they compete in the marketplace, the new infrastructure needs to be bulletproof, highly integrated and “business condition flexible”. It is our understanding that in order to achieve this goal the new operating infrastructure needs to be dramatically less expensive, service enhancing and a net contributor to the BAX operational bottom line.
Considering that all the current core BAX processes are being overhauled, this project’s complexity has increased enormously over the past year. All the pieces that will eventually make up BAX TOS must be thoroughly tested to insure eventual project goals are exceeded. One of the most important success factors in the eventual outcome of this project will be the quality of the component pieces, the integration of those pieces into modules, the knitting of the modules into systems and finally the large scale integration of all the new sub systems into the BAX …show more content…

In order to meet this goal CSL is proposing to cooperatively design, develop and deliver a methodology tailored specifically to TOS. In the mentor role, CSL will jointly establish the practices and procedures for BTAM which will become the cornerstone for future BAX application development. The experience gained from working the wide breadth of testing projects managed by CSL will give BAX a significant head start in reducing future project risk in implementing
