As required, this report is a discussion report about one interesting company namely Microsoft Corporation. This report covers the brief background information of this corporation, analyzes the internal strengths with the weaknesses and the external opportunities and threats of Microsoft. Furthermore, the success of this company is also discussed in the paper.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Microsoft Corporation is an American multinational corporation founded by Bill Gates and Paul Allen on April 4, 1975. The corporation develops, manufactures, licenses, supports and sells computer software, consumer electronics and personal computers and services. Its products include Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Windows Phone, Skype, Outlook Mail, Xbox, Microsoft Surface and many other internet products.
INTERNAL STRENGTHS
A chain of product tools
Microsoft Corporation, of course, is famous for their operating system Windows. However, under great pressure from Apple, Microsoft had started expand their field to the internet products. The initial internet products of Microsoft include Live Mail and Internet Explorer. Now the collection consists a wide range of products namely Outlook Mail, Bing Search, Bing Map, Office Online, One Drive and surely Internet Explorer. These services are corresponding with Gmail, Google Search, Google Map, Google Doc, Google Drive and Google Chrome. So Microsoft and Google have a comprehensive battle on the Internet.
Their top products are Windows and Microsoft Office. Windows has a fourteen years of history and now is the most popular operating system all over the world....

...g two competitor, Apple, and Google. IOS and Windows Phone have ideal applications for entertainment and working, while Android has a wide range of apps which give a many choices for users. Besides, Android is still the most popular mobile operating system in the world.
Microsoft has started a battle with Google in the Internet sector. Although Microsoft provides similar products, Google has a large number of loyal users who are not always easy to change their attitude. And Google never stops renovating its products that makes it difficult for Microsoft to compete.
RECOMMENDATION
1. Invest more in mobile sector, both software and hardware.
2. Conduct a marketing campaign to introduce their Internet products to users.
