Michael Ostrog was a Russian doctor, and a homicidal maniac. It was said that he was very mean and violent to women. Ostrog had a habit of carrying around surgical knives and instruments in his pockets. He was constantly in prison or “on the run” from the police. He had charges such as fraud and theft, usually items such as library books or silverware from colleges. In my opinion, the most suspicious suspect would be Druitt. The reason why I believe it was Druitt is because there is no way that many things could be “coincidental”. It started as any ordinary day at Fowler Middle School, kids laughing and learning. But, at 8:51 AM, a classroom of students walked into a horrifying scene. Marilyn Tokzulott’s second-period class found their teacher dead on the floor behind her desk, murdered. Despite the many suspects, one stands out above all. Billy Plummer, the boyfriend of the victim's daughter, committed this murder. It is clear that the murderer was Mr.Plummer because of involvement in previous conflicts with Mrs. Tokzullot, presence at the crime scene and access to the murder weapon.
The first suspect is Edward “Bennie” Bedwell. Bedwell was a local dishwasher who was questioned at a local motel for three days (Sigona). What supported Bedwell as a suspect is that he actually confessed to the murder (Sigona). There were multiple problems with Bedwell’s confession, however. The first problem with his confession is, “Bedwell couldn’t read or write, so it would be nearly impossible for him to understand what he was confessing to” (Sigona). The second problem with his confession is “After a time, everyone realized Bedwell’s story didn’t add up. There were inconsistencies, including the fact that Bedwell said he was with the girls for a month before they died” (Sigona). Finally, the main problem with his confession is that the girls were dead within four hours of leaving home (Sigona). The other suspect in the case of the murder of Barbara and Patricia Grimes is Max Fleig. Max Fleig was a young man in his teens when the Grimes sisters were murdered (MacGowan). Max offered to take a lie detector test, which he failed (MacGowan). The reason Fleig was released even after failing the test is “The police began to focus on him as a prime suspect until they were told that it was illegal to polygraph someone underage. The police released him, many of the authorities thinking he was their man” (MacGowan). Another example that supports Fleig as a suspect is that he was imprisoned later in his life
Today in criminal convictions, it is prevalent and necessary that there is evidence collected in order to hopefully find and put away the people who committed the crimes. Serology is an important factor that allows this to occur. Serology is the study and identification of bodily fluids such as blood salvia and semen in order to proceed in criminal investigations and legal processes. Blood, saliva, and semen can be readily found in sexual assault and homicide cases. In the case of Dennis Maher, serology is something that should have been considered in order to make a conviction. Instead, none of the evidence that was collected was tested to exclude him, and he was put away in jail based on eyewitness identifications. The crimes that occurred in 1983 ended with Dennis Maher, a solider for the United States, being charged and convicted for rape, assault with intent to rape, assault & battery, and aggravated rape in the year of 1984 based on Eyewitness testimony (NEIP, 2011).
Not only the suspects and crime scene help clarify the killer but also the weird behavior that Amanda and Raffaelle had been portraying during their waiting for interrigations and when the police had invaded the home after the body was found. While outside the house Knox and Sollecito were very touchy feely on each other as if they were not worried about what was going on, and while Amanda was waiting to be interrigated she was doing kart-wheels in the police lobby. Also as much evidence that was found on Amanda Knox and Raffaelle, the world was shocked after the repeal of their sentence when they were set free and Rudy never got a deal. Much time and investment went into this gruesome and atrocious crime. With the many pieces of the puzzle fitting perfectly it seem’s that the murder’s Amanda Knox, Raffelle Sollicito and Rudy Guede. Amanda had the most motive of all of the suspects, she and the victim were roommates that gave her easy access to the house. Their roomates had also claimed that the day before Meredith was murdered Knox and Kercher had got in

Throughout all of American history there have been those who are well known for committing what are classified as deviant or criminal acts. Most of those who are well known by the public for their actions have committed deeds seen as extremely controversial such as being cult leaders, gang or mafia members, terrorists, rapists, or killers. The lists of members for each topic is numerous, however, there are a certain few that are more prominent than others. One criminal that stands out when speaking of killers in particular is Gary Ridgway, or as he is better known, the Green River Killer. Gary Ridgway is the nation’s most abundant serial killer, with the highest murder rate in America’s history (Gibson).
Richard Kuklinski, also known as “The Iceman”, was a killer for hire. He murdered somewhere between 100 and 200 people by many different weapons (Martin, 2006). The first time Kuklinski murdered someone was when he was fourteen years old, due to his rough family life (Source 2). He craved murder and had an appetite for violence. Little did anyone know, Richard Kuklinski would become a highly dangerous hitman based upon his genetics and environment.
Michael Swango was one of the most prolific serial killers in American history, with roughly Sixty murders ranging from poisoning, overdosing patients, and handing out dangerous drugs as prescriptions. Most victims were patients of Swango, and few victims were actually co-workers of his. Like other serial killers, Michael fit the ‘Typical’ description, that is, growing up with family issues, being very intelligent, and being a middle aged white male. Now let's rewind back to the beginning so we can have a better understanding on the events that led towards Swango killings.
Dostoyevsky’s Notes from Underground is a story about the thoughts, views, and actions of a strange unnamed man who we’ll refer to as The Underground Man. The Underground Man is strange because he lacked self-respect, he had sadistic and masochistic tendencies, and he enjoyed inflicting emotional pain on himself and others.
A civil and criminal case can definitely arise from a common incident. Since Simon has filed a case against Michael for his personal injuries and the property damage due to his negligent driving, the government is not brining the suit. In this case, Simon will bring civil suit stating damage he has incurred for the harm. Simon will likely argue for the injury he has suffered, damage of cars and the bills for repair as well as medical bills and damage done for not attending office that caused loss of wages, emotional stress and other charges. All these charges will be determined by the jury when each side will present their situation and testimony and arguments.
How did the Hard Drive Murder Mystery happen? There are many theories about what actually occurred on this memorable day. There was a college student living in his home. He let in someone he knew, and that person proceeded to kill him and steal his hard drive with his schoolwork on it. The facts are that the two people walked in through the door, the owner of the hard drive was murdered and the hard drive was stolen. Also, it seems as though schoolwork was taken by a student from another student. It seems as though this was a one-man job, but there is no guarantee. My opinions on the theories surrounding the specific of the murder, the motive and identity of the murderer and how the evidence supports the case will be discussed and scrutinized

He has no redeeming values, all of his insights into human nature are ghastly, and once he begins the narrative of his life, the reader begins to actively hate and pity him.
