As the years past, Mexican kingpins have come and gone, loyalty has been dishonored, and former unions have been split. The most recent of infamous drugs lords in Mexico include Joaquin “El Chapo” Gunzman and Ismael “El Mayo” Zamaba who both belong to the Sinaloa Cartel. New cartels are taking over since the arrest of these kingpins. This tends to be a repeated cycle. The cartels have extensive control over production as well over the transportation of drugs that come into the U.S. Gang members in the U.S. have ties with Mexican cartels. Mexican cartels are the most powerful and vicious form of gang members in the U.S. Several notorious gangs in the United States are linked to the cartel in some way or form.
