Math 101: The Most Important Things I Learned In My Class

As I sit down in English Comp class on the first day of school, I thought to myself that this class would just be like a language art class, but it wasn't. It was a class to help me write a paper better and make it more professional. As the semester goes by I learn a couple things that will help me in the next 4 years in college. The most important thing I learned in Human Biology 102 is that you need to remember a lot and have a good memory. The first two exams I took, I did very poor. I was so scared of the next exam because if I did worst than before, I would have failed Human Biology. So then, I started to make studying a habit and got a AB on my next exam. How this will help me is that, I need to remember all the formulas for future uses it in my next classes because mathematics require other past formula to be used in other formulas. Being good at memorizing things helps you manage your time and be able to share your ideas. In Human Studies 198, the most important thing I learned is that you may not enjoy being in the class, but try your best to enjoy the material anyway. How this would help me in the future is that I did not read the material until I had to write an essay about the reading materials. Which backfire fired on me because I had to read all the readings we were assign on one day and then write about it. I have to make sure next time I have to manage my time.This class also made me take a program called GPS( Gateway to Phirst Year Success). In my GPS class called Hum Studies 283, I learned materials to help me around campus. This class help me learn ways to take notes, how to manage time, meet new friends, be active at campus and attend activities after school. This class provided me help with a study session in the afternoon for my biology class. Managing my time help me put some time in to my English Comp 093

    One thing that I learned from this course is to follow directions. In the first assignment, we were told to write a personal story of what shaped you as a whole. At first, I had a difficult time thinking of a topic to write about, but after viewing other students’ essays, I finally understand what the professor was asking for, and I came up with an idea of writing how I got my cats and wanted to become a veterinarian.
