Μαριάμ, better known as Mariam, is the goddess of quiet change. Her greek name means wished-for child, or rebellion. She has the power of quietness, but also has the power of great hearing, which helps her on her many journeys. She has a forever sympathetic love for not only people, but animals too. Mariam brings warmth to the surviving winter flowers and keeps the arctic from melting. She has the ability not to fly, but to gracefully float to wherever her destination may be. She may be one of the most selfless, caring goddesses out there, however she does have a bit of a dark side. Her quiet, but fiery spirit allows her to accomplish just about everything. She often gets looked over, which allows her to inherit many successful encounters. Aughthough she is quiet, Mariam is known for her brawling matches. She is best known for fight she put up against κακός, or Ko, the god of damage. Mariam and Ko have an on going love, hate relationship. Before Ko was a “bad guy”, he was her first and only love. Ko, once known as καλό παιδί, or Nako, lost to his last opponent αγάπη μισητής (Roni), who had given Ko a “never ending” spell of hatred. Once a tender loving god, is now a bitter, cold, non-spirit. Mariam and Ko were set to be wedded, on the eve of the day they met, four years later. However the spell of Roni meant that Ko would have forgotten what love means. Ko was said to think that love was evil and evil is bad, but it's good for him to be evil, but not to love. Mariam did everything in her power to make Ko love again, he soon became abusive and she had to leave. Months passed, Mariam was never the same. She knew her missing piece was Ko, but she knew they could not together anymore. It killed
