Manifest Destiny Justified

I believe that the American policy of Manifest Destiny was justified for many reasons. It comes down to the Louisiana purchase when Thomas Jefferson made the risk of purchasing land that was almost double the size of the country that they had already established. There are many reasons why I believe the Manifest Destiny like, land benefits, resources and the transportation industry. But yet there are a couple reasons why it should not be justified like how they had to kill of and take most of the indians territory. This had to be done though. All in all I believe that the Manifest Destiny should be justified for many reasons. For example, when we purchased the louisiana territory many of the indian tribes were killed or had fled because we had take over their land. The indians had been there for a long time and all of a sudden they get killed or told to leave immediately. I don't think this is fair but I think the americans had a reason to do this. Since Thomas Jefferson and the whole country paid a lot of money for this territory, they should be able to remove the tribes since they own the land. It still not really fair to the indians but thomas jefferson did purchase all of that land for a reason. Along with this many of the the animals were killed. For example, the buffalo population was really high until the purchase had taken place, they had killed of many of the buffalo leaving barely any left. These are a couple of reasons why the Manifest destiny should not be Justified. Even though there are a couple well fought reasons on why the manifest destiny wasn't justified I strongly believe that it was. Even though many of the natives died and there land was taken, I think they should be able to do this since they spend a lot of money for new land that no longer should belong to the natives. It helped encourage the use for transportation and the transportation industry and offered many, many acres of farming land that consisted of many resources.
