Chapter 1: I performed in the camp talent show. I sanged a song called waiting for life by Lachanze from the musical Once on this island and someone played by piano. I was really proud of myself and I found so much confidence in myself. The song that I sang was really described myself. After I sang I couldn't believe that I actually sang that whole thing without messing up. When I finished everyone stood up and cheered so much. Then when I went outside my two counselors were so proud of me they both were crying because ever since day one at camp I was very shy and I had a lot of stage fright but I accomplished that. Then when everyone went inside I stayed outside sobbing my eyes out because I was so proud of myself and I’ve never done anything like that in my whole life and it felt so nice. I learned how to improvise more in acting like how to stay in character. I was in a musical theatre also and I learned so much on how to act out and sing at the same time. It’s kinda like the same as singing and walking. Chapter 2: I participated in the school musical last year called Once on this Island Jr. I played the role of Mama Euralie I was a mom with a husband and 2 daughters. I had my very own hardcover script from broadway junior. I had about 19 lines total. I was in about 7-8 scenes. So there was a lot of staging. Because I had a big role and I had a bunch of solos I had to get mic attached to me so that everyone in the audience can hear me. It really exciting to have one for the first time because after all of my other previous years of performing I never got one because I had an extra role.
