To begin with, this paper will scrutinize my ideas of values, integrity, and philosophy and why I believe and follow them I will write about why these fundamental beliefs are important to me. It can be different for each person, but these are my own personal views. To be honest, I believe that my grade for this paper should be an A-. I feel as if I did not use enough vocabulary words. However, I explored and took the time and effort to efficiently compose my thoughts into this paper. First of all, in order to answer the question (How do you make ethical decisions?), I must define what “ethical decisions” are in my own words. Ethical decisions are choices we humans must act upon whenever we are faced with difficult choices. Additionally, these choices usually include outcomes that are inconvenient to ourselves. Therefore, I make ethical decisions by the factor of what is going to benefit myself and other people. However, I put another person’s benefit above mine. It is the easy and wonderful life, full of achieved dreams (and more to easily achieve). A person can be considered living the good life, if they have accepted and realized that they are. Alternatively, in my opinion, the good life is a simpler, more achievable, state of nirvana. To achieve the good life, a person must abide the laws of karma, by being moral. We must be ethical and moral in order for the positive energy to come back to us. For me, the good life is to be able to survive and chase my dreams. One of these dreams is to be able to perform on broadway and inspire others, just the way other performers have inspired me. Another dream of mine is to be able to help others in need by being a nurse. These dreams are hard to achieve, but they all require passion in order to be positive.
