Macbeth is a brave soldier and a powerful man, but he is not a virtuous one. He is easily tempted into murder to fulfill his ambitions to the throne, and once he commits his first crime and is crowned King of Scotland, he embarks on further atrocities with increasing ease. In is way trying to get to the top he murders King Duncan, 2 Guards, Banquo, Lady Macduff and her son. In the state of New Mexico Macbeth will be charged with first degree murder for King Duncan, 2 counts of second degree murder for King Duncan Guards and 3 counts of criminal solicitation for Banquo and the Family of Macduff. Like Macbeth, Banquo thinks ambitious thoughts, but he does not translate those thoughts into action. With the third murder is assumed that Macbeth used his brain because he himself did not commit the murder himself but instead sent men to do his dirty work. He paid 3 men to murder Banquo and his son. While getting the plan together he tells the men “It is concluded: Banquo, thy soul’s flight, if it finds heaven, must find it out tonight.” (3.2.141-142) Macduff will be charged with criminal solicitation. A person guilty of criminal solicitation if, with the intent that another person engages in conduct constituting a felony, he or she solicits commands request, induces, employs or otherwise attempts to promote or facilitate another person to engage in conduct constituting a felony within or without the state. He will be charged with second degree felony. Banquo was murdered because Macbeth thought Banquo would over power him so that his sons could be King. The state of New Mexico does have an insanity law so there is a possibility that he could be charged with insanity and put into a mental facility. He would have to take the Irresistible Impulse test. If he wasn’t in his right mind while doing these crimes than there is a chance he will be put in a facility but there’s a strong chance he’ll be put in prison. He didn’t second guess any of the murders and obviously felt no remorse. While murdering the Macduff’s he also murdered many others. Multiple people were left with a mother, father, sister, brother, aunt, etc. Macbeth should be charged with the murders and serve time in federal prison. Macbeth should serve 2 life sentences because of the murders he did. He wasn’t insane nor was he losing his mind. He was perfectly calm while murdering this victim. He didn’t care about their live so no one should care about
