Luck has always been a controversial word on whether or not it exists. Many believe that luck exists, however; there are not ways to adjust one’s own success or failure. Although there are numerous who believe that the actions one engage in to reach their opportunities will guide one with determining their success or failure. I personally agree with Oprah’s quote, ““Luck is a matter of preparation meeting opportunity.”” My reasoning into believing this is due to with the actions one takes is what I believe determines their outcome; as preparation is an immense factor when facing advanced opportunities. My perspective of one’s own ability is that one’s open minded ability of continuously accepting and being prepared for advanced opportunities that may arise is a matter of preparation. Individuals who are prepared will accomplish their journeys and goals that have been set. Understanding that you are unable to sit and wait for better opportunities to come land in one’s lap will not happen; but instead accept the understanding working hard is a necessity in achieving superior opportunities with the attitude that you are able to accomplish this, having a positive attitude and outlook on life is the key to success and achieving what one has set out for.
