“Life Applications and Perspectives
For Christians (Pp.95-154)” “The Event: The Life of Christ,” in the book Survey of the New Testament, by the author Irving L. Jensen, shows us how Christ is pictured in the Gospels. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are the four Gospels in the New Testament to critique the earthly life of Christ. In detail, the foundations of Christianity give facts in Christian doctrine, Christian conversion, Christian living, also Christian services. However, through the historical facts of Christ’s birth, death, resurrection facts for life applications and perspectives are taught through the sovereign plans accomplished by God (Jensen 96-97). After reading this week’s assignment also studying the charts one of the life’s applications also perspectives I believe is to mirror our life after Christ. We are made in the image of Christ, therefore, Christians, our actions should represent or reflect His image wherever we go. Jesus Christ is the greatest mentor; the only example one Christians should pattern their life.
