The subject of Warhol 's Art ranged from celebrities to car crashes to even a can of soup, though this may seem unappealing Andy Warhol had a way of turning these basic things into Master works of art. However Leonardo da Vinci 's artwork is vastly superior and was based on a vast array of multiple subjects including not only humans but animals even inventions he made himself. Andy Warhol 's most notable work made him explode onto the art scene, this being his Campbell’s Soup Cans. This piece of art consisted of 32 images of Campbell 's soup each being a different flavor. Warhol used his advertising skills when making this masterpiece, he used it to convey a sense of mass production and conformity. As well as the message the work conveys there is also another key point to the piece, that being unlike most of his other works that were done in his signature silk-screening process Warhol hand painted all 32 cans. Alas even Warhol 's best could not hold a candle to Da Vinci 's undeniable masterpiece. The piece in question is the undeniable Mona Lisa, Da Vinci 's master piece is the most recognizable piece of art on the planet. In an interview the artist proposed that the “great [thing] about this country is that America started the tradition where the richest consumers buy essentially the same things as the poorest” (Andy Warhol). With his artwork he reached out to millions. The best example of consumerism is the painting 100 Cans in 1962 seen on the left hand side. Even though the painting is by far not as famous as the Marilyn Monroe prints, it played a major role for Campbell soup sales. According to the Albright- Knox Art Gallery, Warhol designed a can that would be more attractive to the Pop Culture . By using different design elements he invited the user or buyer into purchasing the Campbell soup over other soup products. Through the use of elements such as space and and value, the painting appears to be a 3D image. Bright colors catch the consumers/ observer eyes and invites one into the image. The top part of the cans show texture and the different colors on the can itself create balance. Lines make up the shape of a cylinder and the fact that items shapes and colors come up repetitively, displays repetition. One of his creations was the flying machine. He loved the idea of people soaring like birds and wanted to make that dream a reality. The designs of the flying machine is clearly inspired by the wings of animals that could fly. Leonardo da Vinci’s flying machine has a wingspan of over 33 feet. The frame of the machine was made out of pine that was covered in silk. A sleek and light design that also proved to be sturdy. The way the machine worked is the pilot would lie face down on the board and he would have pedal a crank that was connected to a rod-and-pulley system. There was also a hand crank that was available. This was used for additional energy and the steering was done with a head piece. The pilot was to work the crank with both his hands and feet at the same time. Doing so would cause the wings to flap. A unique feature was the wings were designed to twist when they flapped. This design was an inspiration from nature. Besides his flying machine, he also conceived the idea for a parachute. Although credit for the first parachute doesn't formally go to Leonardo da Vinci he did create the design for it a couple hundred years before it was actually invented. Regardless of where they met and knew Warhol, they each had their own individual lessons and impacts. Jean-Michel Basquait was perhaps the last artist to come around and really know Andy Warhol. Julia Warhol was certainly the first. In between were very many amazing artists, almost too many artists to talk about. The most important, of course, have been mentioned in this paper. Andy Warhol is a man still impacting art long after his death. His visionary style changed forever the face of both commercial art and gallery art. Each canvas was hand-painted, and he carefully reproduced the same image on each one, only varying on the label for each can, differentiating them by their variety. It was shortly after he completed this work, that he began to use the photo-silkscreen process.

In the 14th century, people of Venice would have known him as an engineer, people of Milan would have known him for his Last Supper, but only the people of Florence would have seen his whole character. Da Vinci is known as the archetypal Renaissance man, a man of “unquenchable curiosity” and “feverishly inventive imagination”. Da Vinci created many technologies and new innovations which were so advanced for his time and age that many scholars did not believe him.
