Education isn’t only about learning school subjects and passing our classes, it’s also about learning from life experiences, our failures and even from our family. Every day is a learning experience and in this essay, I’ll be giving you a little insight of my learning experience throughout my life that is important to me and how it shaped me into the person that I am today.

Education in a class room is one of the most important education out there, without the basic knowledge of math, reading and writing, it would be hard to survive in the real world. It’s is because of this that I am most grateful for the time and attention that was given to me the second time I was in second grade. The first time I went into second grade was at J.T. Canales Elementary school in Brownsville, TX I was in a class room where everyone spoke Spanish and understood it better than English, apart from me. My father is a high school dropout. Two weeks before his graduation, his ex-wife got pregnant and so he dropped out and immodestly got a job as a welder. Ever since then he has worked seven days a week with a lot of over time. My father taught me that no matter how tired you are we must always get up to make a living. My mother on the other hand had also taught me that it never too late to do what you want, she worked full time raised three kids and went back to school full time when I was about twelve years old. Last year in December 2017, she graduated with her master’s degree and is currently working on her second master degree.
