Many studies show that trash is slowly ruining our environment.
Our landfills we made are slowly decomposing. That means that the more garbage we have to slower it will decompose and it will eventually become dangerous.
I think that our landfills are getting out of hand. II.
The good sides are that landfills can create energy because of the amount we throw out. They also help our government establish a way to control our waste disposal. Before the creation of landfills, individuals harmed communities by dumping their waste without considering the safety of the public.

To conclude my findings landfills have some good side to them but they mostly ruin our environment. The good side were that they create energy because of the amount we throw out also they help our government establish a way to control our waste disposal, and before the creation of landfills, people would harm communities by dumping their waste anywhere without considering the safety of the public. The bad side of landfills is that many people that live near them have a higher risk of Cancer, Birth defects and also Genetic mutations. In 1347 the Black Death also was caused by a high number of rats that were pulled in by the garbage that was lying on the streets. The plague had killed 75 million people and was one of the worst plagues to this day. Composting and Recycling are a few ways to get rid of landfills. You can compost lots of items food, animal waste, yard waste. Microbes, worms, fungi and insects decompose organic materials. They use oxygen as they breakdown the materials. Bacteria break down plant matter and create carbon dioxide. Recycling waste is another way for getting rid of unwanted waste. There are many different things that are able to be recycled paper, tin, aluminum, plastic. Recycling reduces the need for landfilling. Recycling also prevents pollution caused by the manufacturing of products from materials. It also saves a lot energy and decreases greenhouse gases that contribute to global climate change. Recycling conserves natural resources such as trees, water, and minerals. There are many Pros and Cons for landfills but for the sake of our health we should start to find other ways to get rid of our trash before it takes over the
