Lack of jobs and access to health care is a big problem in the United States. Unemployment has been increasing, creating many more people looking for jobs, causing the little room for everyone to have a job. If demand for goods and services were stronger, unemployment and labor force participation would be higher.
Many people that become unemployed have trouble making enough money for the needs of life. People that are unemployed can't provide for themselves. For example, if someone gets unemployed or can't find job opportunity they will have no source of income and end up on the streets. An article on CNN states that only 62.7% of adults are employed. CNN also states that long term unemployment is high, showing that when people are unemployed it’s tough to find another job. For most good paying jobs it's necessary to have a college diploma. If you don't have one you can't work at a job that makes good income and be forced to work at minimum wage. The economy has been unable to create jobs due to America’s massive trade deficit caused by failed economic policy. The U.S has been importing more goods than exporting, creating a trade deficit. This is causing debt, which causes not enough money to create more jobs for citizens to have a job opportunity. When the U.S evens out the trades we still will be losing jobs. Also another article states that lack of job opportunity is also caused by lack of experience, economic conditions, and the mismatching of available workers to the positions needed. Most job opportunities are looking for more experienced workers and not giving people inexperienced a chance. This is creating less experienced workers and more unemployed and inexperienced
