Good Morning Kelly, I was wondering if it would be okay, if I could miss BSF on Monday, December 11th for a Lorie Line, “King of Kings” Concert? The concert will be at Martin Luther College Auditorium starting at 7:30pm. Lorie Line is my favorite Minnesotan Pianist; I grew playing her music and wanting to perform like her. I would love to know your thoughts and feelings.
In our world, there are people who judge mostly on everything or anyone. Living in a world which people judge on people’s appearance is an unfair judgment towards the person due to the fact of not knowing who that person is. That’s why segregation was a huge part in history during the pasting of the Civil Act of 1964. The definition of segregation is the enforced separation of different racial groups in a country, community, or establishment. During the segregation it was basically a battle between the white people and the black people. This battle made it where at the point blacks had their own school and the whites had their own school, so they wouldn’t have to be near each other during this time. First of all, I’d like to greatly thank the jury for coming and serving on this trial. Today, Mr. James King is being tried of the felony murder of Mr. Nesbitt. Mr. Nesbitt’s death is a sad truth to his family and his community. However, to place Mr. King as the murderer without solid evidence is preposterous. Remember, I’d like to remind the jury that if there is any reasonable doubt in the claim of Mr. King, you must vote not-guilty. I urge you to realise that by placing Mr. King in jail for 25 years to life, you will be compromising this young man’s entire future. I hope you make an informed decision to keep Mr. King out of jail.
In Martin Luther King, Jr.’s speech, “I have a Dream,” he inspires the crowd to take a stand with the following words, “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” Clay felt like he had been quite for far too long, listening to Lula the Hyena harass him with her belittling words. Lula tells lies, is deceitful, and manipulative; these characteristics represent the oppressive white community. I will describe to you how Clay’s reactions, Dutchman, were solely based on Lula preying upon his weaknesses, like the troubles that the black race felt while battling Civil Rights.
In Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech, he elaborates on the injustices that were wildly plaguing America in the year 1963. Black people all over the country were being treated unfairly, locked up in prison for false crimes, and refused the great opportunities that white people were so lucky to receive. Before the year 1963, President Abraham Lincoln was the last person to make such an impact in the equal treatment of all people, so for about 100 years, blacks had no one to back them in their fight for equal treatment.
What determines if a period is beneficial or not? What key figures, events, and changes contribute to it? In American history, there exist many controversial time periods, and the years between 1962 and 1973 is one of them. There were great accomplishments during the period; however, there were setbacks as well. Although murder rate increased dramatically during the era, the period was mostly beneficial for the country because technology and popular culture prospered, protesters spoke up for their beliefs, and minorities gained more civil rights.

When Martin was young, he and his family went through a lot of discrimination and threats of violence many times throughout the day. Martin did not like the way he and others were treated, he wanted to make a difference, so he became the leader of the Civil Rights Movement to stop segregation. Martin Luther King Jr. is a hero because he wanted equal rights for everyone.
I was 16 years old when he was killed. On september 28th 2016 my brother Lewis King Jaiman was in a terrible accident. At just the age of 23 his life was stripped away in a blink of an eye. I believe that people should cherish every second they have with there loved ones.
During early childhood a few aspects of the child’s abilities to learn and inhibit speech is very crucial. Having a speech impediment can be caused by the lack of the influential role of the parents during their linguistic phase of their development. Having a strict parent and an uninvolved parent can cause a child to become unhappy and feel guilty. Emotion regulation depends on the child’s relationship with the father. Children with parents who are uninvolved in their lives are more likely to be maltreated. Therefore, a child without a secure attachment with their parents is more likely to struggle later in life.
The Special Olympics date back all the way to the year 1968. Many see these Games as a time to honor someone who is able to “overcome” a task, but author William Peace sees this as an insulting portrayal of people with disabilities. Peace is a multidisciplinary school teacher and scholar that uses a wheel chair and writes about the science behind disabilities and handicaps. As a physically handicapped individual, Peace is able to observe a negative portrayal of disabled persons. In his article titled, “Slippery Slopes: Media, Disability, and Adaptive Sports,” William Peace offers his own personal insight, utilizes several statistics regarding handicaps, as well as numerous rhetorical appeals in order to communicate to the “common man”

On Wednesday, May 23rd, I attended the College Choir concert in the Reamer Campus Center. The choir performed a variety of songs, ranging from pieces in Latin to traditional American folksongs. Two of the pieces featured solos, and one even featured percussion instruments. Mrs. Elinore Farnum provided piano accompaniment for each of the songs, and performed beautifully. I was extremely impressed by the talented choir members and their ability to sing such a varied range of songs.

On November 10th, 1963 Malcolm X, later known as el-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz, delivered his “Message to the Grass Roots” speech to the Northern Negro Grass Roots Leadership Conference held at the King Solomon Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan. 1963 was a year of change, and a year of turmoil for African-Americans and the nation was in the midst of the (African-American) civil rights movement. Malcolm X’s speech would be one of his last speeches as part of the Nation of Islam, a group that was found 33 years prior.
