Social work is a profession where men and women have a profession at seeking at improving the quality of life and enhancing the well being of individuals. Also, child and family social workers help protect vulnerable children and support families in need of assistance. Social workers help people solve and cope with problems in their everyday lives. Social work and the juvenile system is a very nice topic to focus on. Juveniles in the justice system must be treated appropriately in the legal system. Social workers play a role in advocating different standards to the conduct of children and play an integral role in reforming the legal system. Social worker versus the Criminal Justice System serves as researchers, administrators, probation officers, case managers, and therapist. Programs in schools help keep children from becoming in contact with the juvenile justice system. There is a diversion program in the juvenile justice system that is to address issues within the school system instead of referring to the juvenile justice system. School – based behavioral health services are to help children work on problem-solving skills, develop other positive behaviors, and address mental health issues. Special education services are also good programs that help keep the juvenile delinquents in line.
