In Today’s world, we know of many religions. These religions include Christianity, Muslims, Judaism and Hinduism. Judaism and Hinduism are two religions that are a distance apart but some similarities. For example, Judaism dates back as far as four thousand years, and is the religion practice of the Hebrews. Hinduism dates back eight thousand years. The Hebrew has chronicled their history, religion, lifestyles, achievement and defeats in the Jewish Bible. In fact, the old testament of the Christian bible has documented extensive account of how the Hebrews lived in the holy bible. The Torah is in the Hebrew language and is recited by the Jews every day except for Saturdays which is considered the Sabbath day or day of rest. Hinduism on the other hand has many different kinds of the religion. However, the Vedas is considered the holy book by all types of the Hindu religion. Hinduism does not use scripture, but scared writings. According to the Hindus the Vedas provide knowledge when one reaches certain spiritual realm. At the core of Judaism is the understanding that there is only one God. By the same token; Hinduism was formed in India around the same time as Judaism in India. India is located in the continent of Asia. Hinduism started out as a religion known as the Aryans. In contrast, Hinduism believes in both polytheism and monotheism. Hinduism believes allowing individuals to have faith in and pray to their own conceptualizations of the godly in whichever form they indicate, while at the same time uplifting everyone to their final reality, as long as it’s from within.
