“Follow your passion, be prepared to work hard and sacrifice, and above all, and don’t let anyone limit your dreams”, says Donovan Bailey, a Jamaican-born track star , as he expresses the strength and power of determination of never giving up and following one’s dreams. Passions drive individuals to accomplish great things, and they bring a sense of character and uniqueness to a person. From serving the community, exploring the wonders of history, and taking picture after picture, these passions have defined me for who I am. Joining Interact Club has been one of the most impactful and meaningful decisions that I have made in my high school career. Interact has provided me with opportunities that have changed my perspective on life and has
The picture I choose for my personal artifact assignment is a picture of my old HALO-3 helmet based of the video game HALO which is a sci-fi & military science fiction first-person shooter video game. The game deals with inter- galactic warfare which also involves fictional characters to travel around in space, explore new discoveries and findings in planets. The reason why I choose this helmet as my artifact is that it relates to our coarse earth and space a lot as it merely almost looks like a future of what could be of a astronauts helmet and through the game and in the course they also show resemblance of how life is in space, different theories and the game also sheds some light on how the future of space travel may be in the years yet
Before joining the Lucky Ladies Social Club I did not have a social life, my life consisted of going to work, school and church. Being a single mother of a thirteen year old daughter, I decided I needed to venture out and make some time for myself and that’s when I discovered the Lucky Ladies Social Club. However, before joining I decided to research other clubs in my surrounding area for example the Ladies Choice Social Club and the Lady Street Soldiers Social Club. These clubs offered the same benefits of sisterhood and also went on a lot of out of town trips but they were not organized and did not focus on volunteer work. The Lucky Ladies provided me with a chance to give back to my community; they were diverse, and unified. In September 2007, I decided to join the Lucky Ladies Social Club which is a non profit organization.
Professor Thomas, his wife and four children are Treasure hunters. While in Italy, Professor Thomas Kidd (aka Dad) arrested some artifact thieves. When he questions them, they talk about the “enlightened ones” and their criminal conspirators. Tommy, Bick, Beck, Storm, Mom and Dad go to Russia looking a a missing famous art.
Because of this club experience, students will be better college candidates due to their leadership skills. Future success will be a topic we discuss, especially through application of skills we educate. Our focus is not service or diversity, rather educating students with the necessary skills to make a difference and be successful during and after high school.

While in high school, I acted as president of the Business Club and evolved the organization to eventually become the most popular club in the school.
Over the four years that I have spent at Good Counsel, I became part of many activities. Each helping me evolve as a person and become stronger yet. Simple lists could be made of every activity that I have ever been involved in but it could never express to a person what I have learned and how it helped me to grow. Every environmental club, science club, political science club, service work, and S.A.D.D. club I was part of had a very special message to deliver to me. Whether the message was one of responsibility, or a life lesson, I grew from it. The Political Science club opened me to many new experiences. It allowed me the chance to attend the Model U.N., where I was asked to address today's top world issues. This club was very beneficial to me because I was exposed to topics and ideas that I had not previously been able to discuss or learn about in a classroom situation. The science club allowed for me to experience extra educational situations as well. I took part in a hovercraft competition, which was very educational while also allowing me the chance to work with others for a common goal.
When identifying an artifact, archeologists have to rely heavily on preexisting knowledge, common senses, and each other. Exercise one displayed how the identity of an artifact and its cultural importance is not easily determined by its outward appearance. Even if the identification of the artifact is obvious, archeologists ask basic questions in order to understand the use and significances of an artifact. Often this question lead to more questions rather than answers, still the assignment showed how asking questions and gathering basic information could lead to the identification of different artifacts.
A cultural artifact is something that does not come from nature, it is something that is invented or made and helps tell us about the way the world is. Cultural artifacts can be seen as a good and bad thing; depending on your generation or how you look at how the artifact being used. Cultural artifacts have changed the way the world is and the way the world works. For this paper, the cultural artifact the cell phone has changed the way we communicate and do business. Everything we need is just a few clicks away.
When your go to a museum, you look at all the amazing artifacts and wonder, do the artifacts in the museum really come from my state/country? Do the Artifact belong to my state/country? Cultural artifacts contain a presence of ones culture. The culture is in the artifact in every way and form. People are taking away the cultural side of the artifact by taking away the artifact from the place of origin. Cultural artifacts should be returned to their regions of origin. So the region can look at the artifacts and see themselves in the culture.
In college, I will also be exposed to new clubs and activities. I feel that club and after school activities can make a person more involved and give a person the right qualities to become a leader. Involvement in extra events has provided a balance for rigorous course study. With the pressures that college brings, I will probably want to be involved in many groups.
Imagine... the whole school, friends, teachers, and parents looking at you like. Teachers are looking at you saying inside their heads, “one day teacher I hope many students can be like that boy who shows that he gave his everything that he could just to get to where he is right now.” Also if you try your best everything you did was worth taking risks for. Knowing that all students should look up to that boy and say “Through my middle school here hope one day us students can be like that.” Is this how people are going to remember you? Is this the legacy you want to leave behind, people remembering who you are for doing this? A legacy is how you want to be remembered. Sometimes people leave behind an amazing legacy that some people won’t forget, but others are not so lucky. Some people leave a bad legacy that no one wants to remember. The one that legacy that leaves myself is a smart, respectful, and a responsible legacy.
You’ve heard the advice before “get involved, join a club”, at the University of Montana (UM) we are a very large commuter college, involvement is a good way to develop relationships with other students and to create a sense of community for yourself and others.
Passion for Family, Community, Business, Technology and Intellectual growth are what motivate me on the daily basis. These are vital parts that have contributed to framing me into the person I’ve become. They have also shaped my short-term and long-term goals in life. It’s critical for one to have a vision for their life and what they anticipate to accomplish. Without a vision or desire there is no hope for one to continue and to purse anything. My experiences with in my passions have helped me aligned my vision for my life. They have given me the valuable knowledge that have set me up for success to get to this point in life.
