When businesses hire new employees, or if they start a new business they have to have some type of standards. Just like a school where students go by a Code of Conduct Businesses have to do the same thing. Businesses do this so that employees will be aware of the rules and the policies enforced by the company. These rules are set to be mean and harsh on the employees but rather to maintain safety and also ensure the Company runs smoothly and is under control and is serious and not a joke. John Deere Supplier’s Code of Conduct is kind of segmented into four sections, Labor and Rights, Health and Safety, Environment, and Ethics. These topics explain several branches within the section. If an employee that is look to work for John Deere does not abide by or agree to these terms that are expected by John Deere will not be tolerated and will not represent their company. John deere is a very successful company and they contain such good qualities because they don't accept anything less from their workers. They set a high precedent and expect the best, and they explain what is expected. The Code of Conduct isn't just do’s and don'ts. It is a outline forsay and will lead you on the right path to representing you and your school in the best way possible. If businesses don't require their employees to go over and agree to the terms of these rules and policies they wouldn't receive the work they are expecting. In the future I intend and hope to follow in my father’s footsteps and pursue into the insurance field. His employees know the rules and expectations he has because they have been given a guide when they first started. His company runs smoothly with no issues coming from his employees because he made sure they knew what he expected and they knew what was best for the company. Code of Conducts are more than the lines you read on a paper the employee that represents those terms also represents the company they work
