Johannes Kepler was born at 1 P.M on December 27, 1571 in Weil Der Stadt, Wurttemberg, in the Holy Empire of German Nationality. He was a sickly child and his parents were poor. Kepler’s family was Lutherans and he adhered to the Augsburg confession a defining document for Lutheranism. He was the eldest child of an ill assorted union. His father Henry Kepler was a reckless soldier of fortune and his mother, Catherine Guldemann, the daughter of an innkeeper. His father worked as a mercenary and left the family when Johannes was five years old. It is believe that his father died in the eighty years war in Netherlands. His mother was an inner keeper daughter and worked as a healer and herbalist. Kepler mother was tried for witchcraft. kepler had six siblings and three of which died at an early age. Kepler suffered from an eye illness and his vision was severely defective like hypochondria.
In 1576the family moved to Léon erg where Johannes attended first the German school and then the Latin school. In 1583, he passed the exam in Stuttgart and in 1584 went to the seminar Adelberg Germany, a convent school. Two years later he was accepted at a higher seminar in Maulbronn Germany, also a convent school. Kepler made possible through a scholarshiop and he began in 1589 with his studies in theology, philosophy, mathematics and astrnomy at the University of Tuebingen Germany.
When Johannes parents returned after several years, his father, Henry set up a business as an innkeeper. His father was not interested in paying fees to send his son to school. Instead he saw him as a cheap source of labor in the inn, so Henry made his son leave school. However, business at that time later declined and Johannes kepler help was not need it. With his for...

Johannes worked affect us today because without his three law of motion we wouldn’t have be able to know about the universal gravitation. Also with his idea that the planets, and as well planet earth, he state that the sun was revolved around the planets and that planets were on the center. Also he published data on the position on the stars which immensely help navigators. He made various contributions to mathematics including faster methods of calculation. He also was the person the improve optics. However, his main contribution with the greatest impact was Keplers laws of planetary motion. These laws provided the groundwork for many great scientific including Sir Isaac Newton’s work on the universal gravitation. He died of fever in Regensburg, Germany on November 15, 1630.
