There are many similarities between Ralph from Lord of the Flies and John F. Kennedy. Firstly, Ralph and JFK both wanted change and care for others. Ralph was the leader of a stranded group of boys that were stuck on an island. On the other hand, JFK was the 35th president, the youngest president to be elected in US history. While Ralph remained alive in the book, JFK was assassinated on November 22, 1963. Ralph is similar to John F. Kennedy because they both wanted care for the people, wanted real punishments for people that broke the law, and liked to help others. To start off, JFK is similar to Ralph because they both wanted care and health got the people. The article “Vitamins and Health ” notes that “JFK wanted health and fitness for the people”. We can see JFK and Ralph want the same thing, health and sanitation Ralph also wanted sanitation to prevent the spread of the disease. Efforts and courage are not enough without Purpose and direction” To conclude, we can see that JFK and Ralph both wanted health and sanitation. After that, JFK and Ralph are similar because also Ralph wanted a change in sanitation and cleanliness. We can see throughout the story, Ralph wanted improvement, shelters, and cleanliness. "And I work all day with nothing but Simon and you come back and don't even notice the huts!"
