Jesus Christ is considered the Son, the Father, the Holy Ghost, the Messiah, etc. to a vast amount of people and religions, but the religious and nonreligious question if Jesus is a rebel. A rebel is a person who rises in opposition or armed resistance to change the existing ideas or government. During his preaching, 27-29 AD, and before his death, 30-36 AD, Jesus challenged the oppressive violence in the world. But, he didn’t fight violence with violence, instead he fought violence with peace. Even after his death, Jesus had, and still have people learning about faith, love, acceptance and much more, whether or not if a person if religious. Jesus was born around 6 B.C. in Bethlehem. John declared him as the Son of God after his baptism. . Jesus, according to Christians, “is considered the incarnation of God and his teachings are followed as an example for living a more spiritual life” (Biography). His preachings consisted of, “love, acceptance of others, and the power of God’s love for humanity” (Christianity), which gained many followers in Galilee, Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, Jordan, ect. His followers were inspired by Jesus to rid of the selfish boundaries that distanced people and were inspired to, in themselves, feel joy. In theses places, Jesus also attained 12 disciples, including Andrew and Simon(Peter), who traveled with him, to preach his ideas. Although Jesus gained many followers by his preaching, his preachings weren’t enjoyable to some. The Sanhedrin’s, the supreme council in Israel, felt threatened by Jesus’s profound preaching. They felt that their rule over the citizens was diminishing, “The Sanhedrin felt threatened by Jesus ...and the popular opinion that he was the Messiah” (Christianity) .
