The guitar is an instrument that originated out of Spain over 400 years ago. It is considered to be an ancient instrument. The guitar was invented by the classical –era Greeks due to a simple mistake. This instrument can have up to eighteen strings to from the wood, ancient and noble. However, six is the most popular strings associated with three main types of guitar which includes the acoustic, archtop, and the classical . I have learned to appreciate good music performed by artist Jeff Beck. His music allows you time to meditate and to enjoy the melodies. It is as if the guitar, itself, sings. The high chords on the electric guitar raise my emotional response reaching an enjoyable high matching the written part of the song. After my interest was captured by the particular solo “Somewhere over the Rainbow”, I have been influenced to seek out other performances by Jeff
Beck in all of the era and the bands he has a composed (played) in. Geoffrey Arnold “Jeff Beck is known as an English rock guitarist, with an interest in the electric guitar. He has several releases with a variety such as hard rock, jazz fusion, and blue rock. Therefore, by learning the different chords and descending and ascending scales is encouraging to someone who has an interest in playing the guitar. However, listening to music contribute to good health within the body. By following the path will enlighten others to be a good listener and to be opened minded for a variety of music, style and artist selection. I
