2.1 The concept of education in Islam Muslim is the title of the believer of Islam. According to the revealed to the Prophet Muhammad and specified in the Quran (570/80-632), Muslim means practice the submission to Allah, the one and only God.

In Muslim perspective, they are not only absorbing knowledge, but also to encourage a high engagement with knowledge and positive attitudes aiming for the "Development of the Ummah and the society (Shah, 2006). Also, Attas (1979) indicated that education is not a choice for Muslim students, but a command in order to communicate with God. Meanwhile, the time for praying and the arrangement of fasting required the cooperation of school officials which are difficult for them (Mahmoud, 1996). During the month of Ramadan, Muslim needs to have fasting. Students may not have the physical stamina to finish the task from the physical education lesson, even the regular lesson (Carter & El Hindi, 1999; Smith, 1999). Muslim student may have less participation in education activity in order to insist their religion attendance or in contrast. And as William (2003) mentioned, religious commitment can be define by how an individual dedicates themselves to following a deity and the self-perception and external behaviors. Also, as mentioned by Mission Islam, parents should always strive to promote in their kids the Islamic standards of Halal (act that is not forbidden by Allah) and Haram (act that is forbidden by Allah) as the natural reference point in their lives. Thus, the Muslim student may regard religious knowledge is important than academic knowledge which affected by their family background.
