Isaac Newton was born on Christmas Day 1642. He was a premature baby so small his mother said he could fit inside of a quart mug. When Isaac turned 3 years old he had to move in with his maternal grandmother because his mom moved in with her new husband.
For about 5 years, when Newton was 12 to 17 years old, Newton went to The Kings School, Granthum which only taught Greek and Latin no Mathematics. After Newton’s mother was widowed for a second time, she tried to persuade Newton to become a farmer. Newton hated farming so she could not persuade him.
Newton’s mother was convinced by Henry Stokes the master of The Kings School to send Newton back to school. At first, young Newton was not very good in his studies. He experienced school bullying, much like what one experiences today. He was brutally beaten. He was very upset, and he asked the bully to fight again. This time Isaac …show more content…

It did not matter if the light was transmitted, scattered, or reflected, the color stayed the same. These experiments lead to the discovery that colors are made up of light, and that the objects do not emit colors on their own. This is known as Newton’s Theory of Color.
Newton argued that light is composed of particles or corpuscles, which were refracted by accelerating into a denser medium. He compared sound to waves to explain the repeated pattern of reflection and transmission by thin films, but still maintained his theory of fits that disposed corpuscles to be reflected or transmitted. However, later physicists favored a purely wavelike explanation of light to account for the interference patterns and the general phenomenon of diffraction.
On January 11, 1672, Isaac Newton was appointed as the Fellow of the Royal Society of London, then he accepted the Master of the Mint position on February 3, 1700. Finally, he accepted the chair of the President of the Royal Society on November 30,
