Brave New World is no longer relevant. Who wouldn't agree that the ideas in the book aren't relevant with the text and modern society. In the book everyone lived in this perfect world. A “Utopia” as you will. But of course not everything was oh so perfect. The director wanted and expected everyone to be the way he sees things and have no problems. That doesn't really work out so good because of Bernard. Bernard is the outcast of the story. He isn't like all of the others, he actually doesn't believe in what was taught to him at an early age. Bernard is embarrassed about everything that is going on an is uncomfortable.
Perfection isn't always something you should strive for. Just because something seems perfect for someone else doesn't mean you should do it because your definition of perfection is what actually matters. The way Bernard is, is perfectly fine in our world but sadly not in …show more content…

Our society tries to be the best we can without being perfect because we don't believe that perfection is the key is succes. The only thing our people want is to be happy and not change the way that we are an live a successful life where they know they made it. We the people try our best to be very accepting and have rights for the things that we want. We have women's rights , LGBT, and many more . That's something that Brave New World wouldn't have.
In our society it would be weird if we didn't have rights and have positivity that we have today. We are just so used to being happy with how things are , I don't think none of us couldn't think about living in a world like in the book. It would be so unhappy with people thinking that there's actually a perfect utopia for them but there isn't . Yourself should make your world great so you can be happy unlike the book where Bernard isn't happy how everything is going in his life and feels uncomfortable with everything
