The essay
*Chris has decided to go on a journey of self- reflection. It's believed by Jon Krakauer that Chris had no real reflection from college, but needed a further journey to actually build himself to the character he is now. Into the Wild are the steps Chris McCandless took to reflect and truly express himself within many themes. After my graduation, I want to explore more into materialism vs. idealism and “raw, transcendent experience” because these themes would help me build my character.

This can be true to all men and women, but does not apply to Chris McCandless. Chris went out into the wild to have an idealism connection within himself. May seem complicated, but Chris developed an appreciation for nature and was able to have a deeper meaning than what any other individual can make of it. Chris’s knowledge of context was so developed. McCandless inner reading is what I would like to explore the next following years. Seems as you read more into it and make connections it is what grows knowledge. I read what is written. If I was more into context as Chris McCandless was I would understand more. This connects to my Psychology class. My teacher has idealism similar to Chris and when my teacher reads he develops a discussion that goes in depth and not just what is written. Jon Krakauer looked into Chris’s books. It is all ideal because Chris connects to quotes of books and makes a notation. There is a quote in Into the Wild that states,”*#*.” Chris became more ideal and reading these books had him more into understanding deeper meaning. This quote details that Chris has become more complex and can really grow into his knowledge.
