Do you ever know what the meaning of life is to you? People have their own wants and needs in life, everyone has a unique mind, we all have different perspectives from life. Us the people won’t understand life till we go out there and experience it for ourselves and the see the beauty in life. In the story Into the Wild, Chris McCandless goes out into the wild not only to see nature but to find himself. People like Shan Callarman thought McCandless was a bright and ignorant child who had no common sense and was making a dumb decision and thought he was just plain crazy, but I disagree with Callarman thought and believed McCandless was a unique soul and was aware of what risks he was taking on this trip, McCandless was an intelligent person and not a careless one.
After, seeing the film Into the Wild and saw McCandless great journey it made me think about life more from very different perspectives. Some people wouldn’t understand why Chris McCandless went on this journey, but he did this so …show more content…

In the film he showed us his struggles, his fears, and his values. On his two-year journey to Alaska he took risks and said words that came from his heart and stuck to his mind. If more people did what Chris McCandless did and took some time to find themselves, people would be more happier, peaceful, and just not take life for granted. McCandless will always have critics but people who think like him will always find him inspiring. As Chris says “The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon for each day to have a new and different sun.” This is a quote people should follow, we should try new things everyday and not do the same things and .fulfill a happy life with others or just yourself just like Chris
