Mission
A company called Creative Learning Center, a fictitious company is selected for the purpose of this integrative learning project. Creative Learning Center is a child care services who also offer extended care that incorporates Christian-based curriculum for children from toddlers age to five years old. The mission of the Creative Learning Center is to provide first-rate child care services in a warm, safe and nurturing environment while reinforcing a child’s intellectual, mental and physical development. The Creative Learning Center takes a Christian-based team approach utilizing experienced and skilled staff whose profession is nurturing and educating the youth. The target market place for Creative Learning Center is the middle to upper class households with two incomes. This target group has two parents working and need day care and after school care services that can accommodate their schedule. This targeted group will have the income for child care services and is willing to spend more to get quality care and academic enrichment for their children. Since Creative Learning Center’s values is based on Christian beliefs, the company will also offer grant program for those home in the lower income bracket. Creative Learning Center believe that low-income children show have the same opportunity as the children from middle to upper class income households in developmental enrichment activities.

Biblical Integration
At Creative Learning Center’s core value is based on the belief that each child is a gift from God and given their own unique gifts. Creative Learning Center has a faith-based curriculum to provide each child for a faith based life and activities that will also stimulate their spiritual, mental, physical, social and academic growth. Creative Learning Center strategy also includes monthly themes around bible verses and instilling good qualities in every child. At Creative Learning Center, the core Christian belief is considered in every aspects of the center from daily meal planning to disciplinary techniques used at the center.
Changing demographics in America are leading to an increased need for preschools. In this centre, their all settings for the school age children are appropriate for their all developmental skills. I think they are trying to meet their philosophy which is fostering and contributing to the child development partnership with parents. as well their mission statement, “Our mandate is to meet the needs of our school families by providing quality age appropriate, interesting, engaging enjoyable activities for the students entrusted to our care on all regular school days and non school weekdays.”
After reading Sir Ken Robinson 's book "Creative Schools The Grassroots Revolution That 's transforming Education" the reader can visualize several examples about how to change the actual educational system. He analyzes the process of education in which we are involved and how this one could be replaced with a creative one, which encourages students to be creative in all spheres and subjects; instead, prepare them for standardized tests. Education should be a process where students learn gradually at their own level. The author defines it as " organized programs of learning … that young people need to know, understand and able to do things that they wouldn 't if left to their own devices" (Robinson, p 17) Also, he suggest and analyze, in base of his experience, how education needs to be transformed in order to benefit students and prepare them for life, instead guide them through the straight line of standardized tests. He pointed the importance of teaching and education itself, and how creativity can be a key factor that makes students engage with the learning process.
Humanity is made in the image of God. Therefore, all people have unique and valuable gifts to contribute to society. Every individual is also a sinner in need of redemption through Christ’s death and resurrection. Developing a relationship with Christ is the foundational purpose of my Christian educational practice. Instruction must be differentiated because each student is a unique creation. Effective differentiation is impossible without the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the use of research-based instructional methods and formative evaluation. Powerful teaching constantly modifies instruction to best address the needs of the each student and provides a foundation of love that recognizes each child as a gift from God.

There are a few types of preschool programs. First there are structured preschool programs that focus on emphasizing an actual school setting and classroom activities in order to prepare the child for kindergarten or first grade. There are also day care centers, which are not as structured as preschool centers. Daycare’s focus mainly on child’s development through social interaction with children and caregivers. Then there are head start programs that are geared to give children a foot in the right direction in order to be ready for preschool or kindergarten. Introduction I have chosen to do my case-study at a childcare center in Framingham. This center is owned by Staples Headquarters and run by childcare company Bright Horizons. They currently have 196 children enrolled which includes the following programs of Infants, Toddlers, Preschool, Pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten.
This is a realistic example of how the financial obstacles facing young families these days result in the use of non-parental child care. Many families today are faced with financial burdens, forcing them to utilize day care services for their children so that both parents can work. This paper will discuss three types of non-parental child care including center-based care, in-home care, and family day care. Furthermore, in an attempt to understand the effects of day care on children, this paper will evaluate the psychological, social, and cognitive impacts on child development as a result of day care. After reading this paper you will recognize that all types of child care can be effective as long as the provider is a quality caregiver.
In this assignment the practitioner is going to plan and prepare two experiences in which they will implement and evaluate after each of the lesson. These two experiences will be based on current theory, it will be in a form of an appendix to illustrate the two experiences as well as to promote children’s and young people’s thinking skills, creativity and problem solving. This will include the practitioner to use effective approaches as well as evaluate tools, resources which can help to stimulate children and young people learning as well as supporting children development. The term for creativity has been define as being the use of imagination or original ideas to create something; inventiveness (Oxford Dictionary 2013). The definition of the term problem solving has been described as the process of finding solutions to difficult or complex issues (Oxford Dictionary 2013).
The statement “philosophy of Christian education” contains much information to be unwrapped. The term philosophy literally means, in the Greek, “love of wisdom.” In this case, the study of philosophy involves a “critical study of the basic principles and concepts of a particular branch of knowledge” (Philosophy). My understanding of Christian education is what I hope to unveil in this brief document. A high-quality education of children must embrace a student’s intellect, spiritual nature, social life, emotional growth, and physical health. I see evidence for this in scripture as Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). The goal of education should be the training of children, in every area of their life, for adulthood. What makes my philosophy of education different from the secular world is the distinctively Christian biblical worldview. It is this biblical worldview that sets apart Christian education from the public schools in our culture because we address the spiritual dimension of children that the secular humanistic education denies.
