In this modern day and age, many people have noted instant gratification as a commonplace and have encouraged its discontinuation. Despite contradictory opinions, I hold true to the benefits of instant gratification as it provides attentive medical care and promotes progress. In general, attentive medical care is what separates us from the inadequate methods of the past. A while ago in Australia, a woman had gone on her daily swim out to sea, and, unfortunately on her return, was stricken by a jellyfish. The effects of the sting were almost immediate and took a toll on her hasty retreat. On her arrival to shore, she was barely breathing. However, with the assistance of passers-by and a speedy ambulance, the woman is alive and healthy today.
