Today, statistics show that a shocking 1,665,540 cases of cancer have already been diagnosed in the United States in 2014. Of these 1,665,540 cases, approximately 585,720 overtook the patient. Malaria, AIDS, and tuberculosis are known as some of the worst, most fatal diseases. Cancer kills twice as many people as these diseases do, combined. Data collected in 2009-2011 showed that approximately 40.4 percent of the population will be diagnosed with cancer. With the numbers of cases and deaths from cancer growing, the real question is; Will there ever truly be an end to this destructive disease? Cancer is a disease of the cells in the body which occurs when there is a mutation during cell division that causes cells to grow rapidly and uncontrollably. Exercising is proven to help with cancer, to prevent it and to help during treatment. Exercising helps you live a healthy lifestyle, which reduces the possibility of getting cancer. During cancer treatment you should try to add daily doses of some sort of exercise. This stimulates recovery and boosts physical fitness. It reduces fatigue, heightens your mood, controls weight, and decreases depression. For most cancer patients, depression and fatigue are big problems.
