Interviewer: Good Morning Mrs. Li, we are in the year of 2020, where do you think major changes, in the health care industry, have occurred nationally and internationally. What changes would you like to talk about today? Me: Good morning, it is such as pleasure for me to be here and discuss the significant changes in health care that had occurred in the past years in the United States and worldwide. Today, I would like to focus on my personal development as a member of the health care and a few significant changes that I have seen as a provider in the health care industry. First of all, I will have to say, one that stands out the most is the electronic documentation for every aspect of record storage within United States. This is a very important step for may aspects of health care such as, the safety of patients, accuracy of records, facilitations of communication between multidisciplinary teams, implantation of evidence based practice and so on (Staggers, Weir, & Phansalkar, 2008). The second aspects of the health transformation that I have seen is the big shift in health care beliefs. The belief of health care is to focus on the health promotion/preventive health, patient education, self-care vs. secondary or tertiary health care. As the elderly populations in the Unites States rises and the shortage of nurses in health care system, the health care as a whole has shifted from actively treating disease and illness to educating, screening, preventing the illness from occurring with the best of our abilities (Grossman & Valiga, 2013). In order to slow down the increasing health care cost yearly, preventive health care plays a significant role. As I recall the pharmtherapeutics class during graduate school years, every one dollar spent on vaccinations save seven dollars in health care treatment cost in the United States, which is significant if we consider the entire population of our
