The English were the first to industrialize, shortly followed by our colony in America (Although, at the time, we were still under their rule). Even if in the beginning of the Industrial Revolution many people were not treated well, by the end of it people had more rights in the workplace because of Karl Marx and the Worker’s Rights Movement. It was in the late 1800s that these strikes began, but it was still part of our general look at the Industrial Revolution. If no one stood up to stop the tyranny of business owners, we would probably still be doing things in a similar way, and giving very little rights to workers and people that were unable to start their own businesses. In conclusion, the Industrial Revolution was very beneficial to the way that we operate today, even if living in the times of change was very difficult. It’s important to remember that if just one major advancement had changed, the world might be much more different that we know it today. Works Cited Merriam-Webster.com
