Part B: Individual Reflection Throughout the years certain paradigms have become a big part of my life. Some paradigms are overwhelmingly difficult to change whiles other are long forgotten and overcome. I try new thinking patterns as often as I can, but sometimes it takes a while for me to get rid of my old ways and get used to my new ways. The following paradigms are the hardest to change. Paradigm based on Gender I grew up in a household where I was constantly reminded of the difference between the role of the male and the female in the society. The role of the male is to earn a good income and provide for his family whiles the role of the female is to take care of duties such as clean up after the family and take care of things such as cooking and helping the children with their homework. For the last twenty years, which is my whole life, this is how things happened in our household, but it is slowly but surely fading away and the reason for this, is because of the changes in the environment. This paradigm is probably one of the most important ones simply because it was one of the first things that my parents taught me. I refuse to believe that the sun, the moon or any statue can give you the happiness that God can. As a mere child of only three, and this is as far back as I can remember, my parents repeatedly told me that there is only one God and ever since I started reading I read those exact words in the Holy Bible. This paradigm forms a part of the core of my religion and my religion has only made me stronger through the years. I will never judge people who believe in other gods, but because of my belief I often have the urge to guide them in a different direction and give my opinion about this topic, but with it I accept it if people do not want to change, because everyone makes their own
