1. Introduction
In Australia and many parts of the world students with special needs are increasingly being included into mainstream schools. Firstly, this report investigates the current legislation that relates to disability in Australia as well as the current legislation and policy in Thailand and Finland. Secondly, a brief explanation of similarities and differences between these three countries in their legislation and how inclusive education is bought to their education system. Thirdly, three recommendations that a beginning teacher would need to consider in the classroom for inclusive education, complying with current Australian legislation. The Australian Curriculum provides flexibility and cater for student diversity through personalised learning. Using the curriculum learning area content that aligns with their students’ chronological age as the starting point in planning programs allows better understanding for inclusive teaching (ACARA, 2016), (IOSR Journal, p 40), for example, the student maybe provided an outline of what is required of them in their personalised learning
