Incivility is when a person lacks manners. It is very common to witness incivility in public places. Sometimes, it can escalate to something very serious and the police can get involved. It is time for this to end because it is unnecessary behavior. When someone shows incivility to anyone, then he or she is making a poor impression of themselves. Especially, if the situation ends in a violent conflict, which can be posted on the internet now that everyone has smartphones. Incivility is shown in retail and food establishments, person to person and in the environment.

In food and retail establishments, it is very possible to have many encounters with employees or fellow customers. These encounters can sometimes be uncivil, depending on the person.
