“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.” by Malcolm X. Knowing the information of the future and that things are advancing by the day, hour, minute and second we have to prepare for what is to come. As a future educator I must do all that I have to do to find creative ways to make sure that the children of the future have everything that they need to be prepared for the future jobs that are not yet created in the world. According to the U.S. Census the U.S. population is projected to hit 400 million in the years of 2039. The white population are projected to drop below 50% of the U.S. population by 2042. The net immigration is supposed to be 40%. The new immigration and their descendants will account for 87% of the U.S. population growth between 2005 and 2050. Minorities are projected to make up just over 50% of the population under age 18 by 2023, and 62% of all children by 2050. According to the Population Reference Bureau 10% of U.S. countries now are “Majority-Minority”. Racial and ethnic minorities are projected to reach 50% by 2050. About 10% (302) of the country’s 3,141 countries have passed that mark. 218 countries have reached the “tipping point” toward becoming majority-minority in the next few years. Also with a future educator it shows me that I have to prepare them for anything because we live in a world full of technology the children need to be prepared on how to use it. Soon technology will take over the world and it’s up to the future educator to prepare the children on what is to come. Also as a future educator we have to continue to stay up to date on the latest of the material and information that is coming out because what we are learning now will soon be obsolete for the future. So we have to get them prepared for what is coming; so all forms of technology should be introduced to
