Many factors probably led to Ichabod Crane`s demise. The first is Ichabod`s overactive imagination. The second is Brom Bones and the third is the mood and how it affected the characters in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Over the next paragraphs, one will see the many factors that could have led to Ichabod`s demise. Ichabod Crane, the lank schoolmaster who tried quite hard not to be onerous, had an overactive imagination. He read and listened to many scary stories.
