You become what you think
"You create your own universe as you go along” (Winston Churchill).
Most people would agree with Churchill, not even relay thinking about what he wanted to express with his statement. Do we really have control over our 'own universe', or is the real difference between a life under control and a life out of control just the point of view, moreover our thoughts? Can we change our reality just by changing our way of thinking, our way of seeing the world? According to Quantum Physics, it is believed that a persons thoughts create an energy which attracts what the person is thinking.
The law of attraction is not a new invention, it is known centuries ago. Ever since human existence, people wanted to know more about how the universe works. Furthermore, there was always a curiosity about humans power to control what happens around them, moreover in the whole universe. Law of attraction can even be found in the ancient history. One of the most spiritual teachers Gautama Buddha, literally 'the awakened one', thought people that “All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think we become.” (Gautama Buddha). The main focus in Buddhism is on training the mind to be beneficial in order to have a life of wisdom and compassion. We can conclude that our mind determines our reality, as well as all what we are. According to Jesus Christ, the religious leader of Christianity, people have the power to create whatever they desire, but only if they truly believe that they are capable to manage making their idea real. Moreover, all they need to do is to ask, as well as seek for it. In the New Testament Matthew, one of The T...

..., we can automatically experience negative thoughts. In situations like that, we can surly agree that our immune system is much weaker compared to the situations when we are happy and cheerful. In the end a person who is always in a bad mood, thinking just about the negative things in life totally neglecting the positive aspects of it, is surely never considered to be the best version of itself. Just remember “However many holy words you read, however many you speak, what good will they do you If you do not act on upon them?” (Gautama Buddha). Do not just dream about your ideas and hope that they will come true, thinking that The Law of Attraction will do everything for you. Sure, that is the first step forward, but action is what counts. Believe, pray, give your best in order to succed, and lest but not least, never let negative thoughts to overcome your mind.
...ptions to choose. Winston world is controlled by the party. By limiting his options to what he sees and what he does not see, the party is successful in controlling Winston’s free will in a direction that favors their ideals. Free will does not disappear in the ignorant nor does it disappear in the closed minded, therefore one cannot say that Winston has not lost free will simply because information is controlled and he suppresses idea contrary to the party. It would not be erroneous to say that if the circumstances were different, if Winston lived in a democratic society where the majority truly rules instead of a party and information truly flows freely, Winston would act different because the environment would be different; there is more information and thus more paths for his free will to take. But in the world of George Orwell’s distopia this is not the case.
This shows that positive thinking can get in the way of all your hopes and dreams. You may have an image of a life that seems perfect, but you need to be able to separate that from reality and not get the two mixed. It sometimes blinds you from the true reality. Also in the same text, it stated ‘’the pressure of positive thinking can result in suppressing any pessimistic thoughts or unpleasant emotions because they might attract bad things. You deprive yourself of access to the complete picture and the full range of emotions.
If someone thinks negatively towards something the outcome will not be good, and vice versa. Thinking you can achieve the American dream is a major key in doing so, and some Americans are already on the right track. In the U.S., a survey showed that 36 percent of Americans say they have achieved the dream, and another 46 percent believe they are on the path of achieving it. It is not so easy, though, to always look on the bright side. Sometimes it seems as if nothing is going right; that is when negativity occurs. People can argue that mindset has little impact on the outcome, or that it does not matter how positive a person is because some things are just not meant to be. An article, however, proves this wrong. The paper argues how negative emotions prevent humans from flourishing; it also states, “if your ratio of positive to negative emotions is greater than 2.9013 to one, you will flourish both physically and psychologically.” If a person believes in themselves, they are more likely to accomplish their
The Universal Law of Attraction is working in lives. We are attracting the personal and universal circumstances that we are suffering. Once we are conscious of this Universal Law and how it works, we can use it deliberately to attract what we want instead of what we don't want.
He says that a man's supposed ability to make choices freely is just an illusion. He believes that all our will and decisions are the result of our brain activity and its interaction with the environment.
If you have a connection with someone or if you have people that support you like how R had Julie than life will be easier since you would have positive people around you and that would make you have a positive mind set so please look on the bright side of
In the world there are two distinct types of things. There are things that exist external to us, such as one's reputation or a relationship. We do not have direct control over these things since they exist outside of us. Then there are internal things that we do have control over, like out desires, or things we dislike. The internal things can be controlled, while the external can be harder to control. Some philosophers even believe that the external things cannot be controlled, and attempting to control them will just bring unhappiness.
This is where many people feel a need to respond. I can just hear many of you say "But you can 't simply STOP being depressed! It 's a disease!" Well, there 's more to it then that. Our thoughts trigger feelings. Can we agree on this? When we awaken in the morning, if we begin our day with cheerful thoughts, it generally sets a positive mood. If we begin our day with dreadful thoughts about bills, traffic, marital problems, car problems, the weather, etc, then it sets a negative mood. Thoughts remain on the back burner of our subconscious, even after the thoughts have been forgotten on a conscious

As a result, you attract another bad thing. If you do not change your mindset and think positively, then you will attract another bad thing and start blaming the universe, fate, and everyone else including
In studies about attraction, it has been found out that people have a tendency to be strongly attracted to look-a-likes in physical and social appearance and to potential partners who, in important domains, are similar to themselves (Lucas, Wendorf, & Imamoglu, 2004). According to the Social Homogamy Theory, we are more likely to select a mate as someone who is very similar to us rather than different. We choose mates within specified sociological categories called "endogamous mate selection norms" within categories of age, race, status, religious affiliations, socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds. Another theory that supports similarity in attraction is the Wheel Theory by Sociologist Ira Reiss (1980).
The way we think can affect the way we are feeling based on our thoughts. It is through distorted thinking that we set ourselves up for emotional breakdowns. I can recall plenty of times where I have thinked myself into a terrible mood which have left me vulnerable to an emotional breakdown.I have used the “ always and never” stinking thinking plenty of times. Saying “ I never have time to relax” or “I always have things to do “. I know see I use the words very often. When I use the terms “always” and “never” I don’t mean to “ choose to be the vicitime to circumstances and viewing life as beyond my control” says Mersino, I mean to emphasis my emotions. A way I can avoid using these words is be alert to the use of the words “always” and “never.” Rarely is it true that things are always or never a certain way. Instead of using always or never, I can look for and acknowledge the exceptions and replace the words with “sometimes” “rarely”. Mersino states it as “focusing only on the disagreeable things that happen. If we dwell on the negative, that becomes our reality”. The word negative itself gives me jitters, because I never find myself to be a negative person . The media constantly bombards the mind with a lot of information about disasters, catastrophes, wars and other unhappy events. This information sinks into the subconscious mind, and then, manifests as your habitual manner of thinking. Watch and hear the news, because you
One of the key factors you need in order to turn your negative situations into positive ones is to look at everything with a positive light, this way you don’t only see the negative and instead see what good can come out of it. For example, an older man walking down the street gets a call that his 94 year old father passed away peacefully in his sleep. The man can choose to
The big bang theory is known as the most popular theory of how our universe came to be. It isn’t the only theory ever proposed but it is the most recognized because it seems to make the most sense. It takes into consideration other theories that help explain different aspects of the overall theory. It doesn’t just explain how the universe came into existence, it also offers an explanation of everything inside of it.
Stop nurturing negative emotions, thoughts, and beliefs – A good way to avoid nurturing negative thoughts is to stop comparing yourself with others. We should avoid situations that will trigger our temper and try to get rid of the negative thoughts by replacing them with positive thinking and positive thoughts.
