How would a single person solve their own conflicts? The solution depends on the person and their own individual preferences. Usually, a person’s way of solving problems reflect on their personality and culture. Although individuality is not seen as the best solution by some, those personal opinions actually help with increasing diversity, which allow more perspective to be added onto the issue in order to understand more about the conflict. Maintaining individuality is a great way to respond to conflict because it allows a person to add a unique perspective to solve an issue.
For the most part, having unique perspectives about an issue benefits solving an issue.

For example, individuals need to be rewarded in different ways due to a diversity of people (“Individualism”). When a person is rewarded with something that motivates them, the person feels like their own individual qualities are being recognized, which propels them to do their best. Furthermore, Anne Frank posted pictures of her movie star collection to help her get through being in hiding (Frank, 374). People are able to be motivated by something they like in order to persevere through a hard time. Not everyone shares the same interest, so it is perfect for someone to use or do something they are interested in. Although supporting collectivism will help a group work together, the people in the group will feel unrecognized for their own individual qualities and personal contributions. For example, “Though Sophie knew the correct National Socialistic answer to every question, she soon found herself unwilling to give her teachers the answers they wanted but she felt were wrong” (Bartoletti, 398). Since Sophie is unrecognized for her own thoughts and she is forced to give the “correct” answers, she feels like it is wrong to conform to the National Socialistic
