"Immigration" defined as “to come to a foreign county and take up residence". To most people this is not much but to me it is a big thing. The ability to immigrate to another country is very beneficial, especially t people that might live in a third world country such as Jamaica. It gives them a chance to better themselves and the opportunity that weren't open back in their home country. Well my story with a job offer that leads to the most drawn out process called immigration, this included doctor’s appointment, injections, dreadful waiting rooms, several blood test and lots of paper work. All of which lead to the big day that begins in a small one story house in the residential area of Kingston Jamaica. Its 5:30 am, my dad who’s already up and fully dressed woke me and my siblings up. For months, I anticipated this day, really, to be completely honest, I wish it had never come. As I dragged myself out of bed and into the bathroom, I thought about all things I’m going to miss about his place, and at the same time all that’s going to happen, where I will be in a few hours, my imagination started to run wild as a pack of hungry wolves. As I walk around the yard I remember all the fun and hardship I had at his house. All the times I use to climb the tree, to the times fall out of them, all of this was the thing I will miss no matter what.
