In the last few years people have died from football. They haven't had strong enough protection. Players need a lot of padding for football. Pads help protect the body from taking big hits. So how many people have died or got hurt from taking a big hit from other football players?

Players have enough protection for the body. Adding more protection will make players slower and less athletic to the game of football. If they add more protection the players will get to hot and less mobile in the game. It is also very expensive to upgrade the protection.

Yes it is very expensive to the school or national football league team, but it will make less deaths and less injures. It will not make the player slower if they practice and get used to the new equipment.
