Every year when I go back up to the lodge, I look forward to seeing the people that I have met in the past. I have made friends with people that I never met before and have gone on two day fishing trips with them. The person that I have become great friends with is Dave Mclain. Dave is a sales marketer and works in Duluth, Minnesota. He has been coming up to our lodge for about 12 years now, and I have known him for as long as I can remember. Dave and I, went out fishing for two days straight, and camped in the woods together. We caught some huge fish. The biggest fish that I caught in the two days was a 29 inch walleye. His biggest was a 43 inch northern pike. When I ever get bored up at the lodge, I go fishing by myself with a music speaker, and listen to music while catching fish as fast as I can bait them. My Grandpa has taught me how to hunt and to complete whatever task is at hand 100%. Hunting has played a huge part in my life, because it bring almost every one of my family members together. My first time being able to hunt was in October 2010. My Grandpa offered to take me hunting since my Dad was in Dogskin. He has hunting land by his house, and we decided that we were going to hunt their most of the weekend. We saw a total of three deer the entire weekend, including the 8 point buck that I shot. I shot it in the last ten minutes that it is legal to hunt in Wisconsin. I was so proud after I shot the buck. Since then I have shot two bucks that were both 10 pointers. The biggest one I shot was in 2015 and it measured at 168 inches. I shot it by myself at my Grandpa Slater’s land. It was one of the biggest buck’s that was shot at my Grandpa Slater’s land ever. Along with hunting, I have caught some huge fish in my life too. The biggest fish that I have ever caught was a 31 inch walleye that I caught at Dogskin. I haven’t been able
