Winston Churchill’s Impact on the World’s First Great War

On November 30th, 1874 a man who would change the world’s fate forever was born. This man was Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill, but better known as simply put, Winston Churchill. Winston Churchill, the son of Lord and Lady Randolph Churchill, was born into an already successful family. Winston Churchill’s father was a man who held high power in government and greatly influenced his life. Another piece of Winston Churchill’s early life that greatly impacted the rest of his life was the great education that he got. Winston went to many great schools, academies etc. All of this lead into Winston Churchill’s great influence on the world and it’s course. Some of the things that Winston Churchill used to greatly influence the world’s course was spectacular, some of those being; Working in Parliament, writing books, the great speeches he gave while working which all will lead up to his impact in World War I. While discussing Winston Churchill’s triumphs and failures during this writing I will focus on his major impact on World War One. …show more content…

The large amount of pressure was created by how successful his father was. His father, Lord Randolph Churchill, was a very successful and powerful government figure who was a British Statesman. This is one reason why Winston Churchill most likely chose to go into government the way he did. Other than the pressure put on Winston Churchill as a child he also had a large and great educational childhood. He went to Harrow School and Sandhurst Royal Military Academy 1 as a child, which are both very prestigious
