Everyone heard of Disney films and Disney’s amusement park, but no one really know who is behind all of that, and how did he improve the society. Walt Disney, the creator of Disney, spread animation movies to children all over the world. Back in the roaring twenties America was seeing such world-changing phenomenons such as The Great Gatsby, and penicillin, but what took the world by surprise was none other than Walt Disney and his lovable creation, Mickey Mouse. Even in the face of tough times, he never failed to keep his optimistic attitude and kind faith in humanity from infecting those around him. Walt Disney created the American fantasy from thoughts pulled out of the far reaches of his imagination. He was a man who had never let go of his inner child. With his fame and money gained from Mickey he could go on to do heroic things like build schools, work to aid his country during war, build family friendly theme parks, and make unforgettable movies. Disney’s influence has been great within culture and society and I learned how much of an influence Disney has had through our course this semester.
