The American Industrial Revolution was a big turning point that changed the United States citizens from agricultural people to industrial. They moved to the city and they work in factories and on machines. This transition led to reduce the cost of production caused a dramatic change in the nation’s economic history, reducing the cost of production leading to mass and cheaper items for Americans. The effects of the Industrial Revolution turned out to be positive and negative push toward modernization in America. During this time, the lives of the American people ultimately changed, for many Americans, including farmers, were able to share better food, yield more land, and help contribute to the overall standard of living. The Industrial Revolution, in my belief, was the most important thing that ever happened to America. The country needed money and the Industrial Revolution brought the money which it needed. The cities began to grow because of the people moving to the factories. The amount of jobs also grew and this was good for the society. And most importantly, to keep the country growing, the Industrial Revolution brought more money to the economy.
